When he was in 9th grade, the global economy collapsed due to a Recession starting in China. The government decided to take over to manage the crisis, and began assigning students to careers. Travis was assigned to asteroid mining.
Travis was born in 2136 to Melinda and Clark Goodman. Like most children in his era, he spent more time online than with other people.
In 10th grade, Travis joined his peers in an anti-government protest.
In response, the government sterilized him and assigned someone to monitor his online activity. He stopped protesting after that.
In 2159, Travis graduated and began work at the Wilmington Space Center. Since then, his life has mostly revolved around his job.
